Department Of Pediatric

Overview

Department of Pediatrics was established in the year 1988 under the able guidance of renowned Professor Dr M. Jayaram. The main objective of the department is to provide high quality and affordable medical care for neonates, infants, children and adolescents. The department has excellent infrastructure with a state-of-the-art Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Pediatric Ward. Emergency services are rendered round the clock. There are skilled doctors and specially trained nurses giving a healing touch to sick children.

Apart from patient care, the department is involved in research and training of undergraduate and postgraduate medical students that prepares them for careers as general pediatricians or sub-specialists.
