MD-Forensic Medicine
The Department of Forensic Medicine has been granted approval for two postgraduate seats (MD in Forensic Medicine). We provide exceptional postgraduate training that is grounded in competency-based education.
Our department is actively engaged in a wide range of services, including conducting approximately 250 to 300 post-mortem examinations, examinations of skeletal remains, exhumations, toxicological analyses at our Poison Detection Center, embalming, and various other medico-legal services, all available around the clock.
In collaboration with SDUAHER University, the Department of Forensic Medicine has established comprehensive policies to promote research, which include funding opportunities, increments, and paid leave to attend scientific conferences and workshops, among other initiatives.
